this was unsold, BUT the vendor has relisted it still at £430. It is still not a postal overprint or postmark :o

Ben,
the scan is straight from the ebay listing, the best interpretation is that it is a personal chop used on a receipt.
2 problems with that, although personal chops can be any size and shape most are either small square sor very small ovals, as in Okugawa + Itchiburi, also most receipts are 2 c or 6c, and this is 4c.

It is either an unusual personal chop on an unusual receipt rate, or it is totally fictitious. Worth £5 or £0 respectively. Vendor is still seeking £430. he / she is :lol: at us all
