For General Interest.

Burma: Victorian Postal History

The Victorian Period is a very rich area for collectors of Burmese
Postal History. In the early part of the 19th Century pre-stamp
covers relating to the Burmese Wars, Trader's mail & Missionary
covers can be found. However they are rare and much sought
after. After 1854 stamps of British India were used in Burma.
A wide range of cancellations and postal markings make this
a fascinating area to collect.

Images (and price list beginning at $1875.00) can be seen here -
