The name T. S. Tay of 69 Telok Ayer Street is well known to collectors of Japanese Occupation.

Covers to him, in many variations of his name at that address are often see.

My question is - does anyone know what he was?
was he a collector who manufactured covers?
a general dealer who kept all his post?
a general dealer who manufactured covers?
or what ?

Telok Ayer Street is in a business part of central China Town, so was it a business address rather than his home?

please post your comments and information here.
thanks
Susan
