Hello,
I recently acquired this copy of a 12c claret with a very prominent flaw on the second E of twelve, at bottom center. Does anyone know if this is a constant variety? If so, does it occur on all colors of the 12c? It is definitely a printing flaw, and not a scratch or scuff on the stamp.
Thanks for your responses,
Jean-Paul

Having just checked my 'ONE CENT' surcharges, unlike my slug flaw, this one can be nailed. It occurs on stamp 50, (Row 9 Stamp 2), on the upper right pane. My identical example is from a block of 24 with bottom and right margins. Well done, another nice one to collect! :P

Hello Mac,
Thanks for your reply. I'm curious whether it will show up in blue or ultra. Could you post a scan of your copy? I'd love to see it.
Also, check my post on the 1 cent on 6 cent in the Straits section of this forum.

I have just received a copy of the 12 cents stamp that I won at an auction. It is the Crown CA Bangkok 'B', mint without gum, with the 'E' flaw. I have still to verify the overprint but it looks OK so far! :P

(Jean Paul, could you please send me an email so that I can contact you, address as for the 'News Letter'? Thanks.)
