Thanks Roger, I am not sure about the rude blocks though, might have to have a seperate category for them!

I intend to bring a supply of templates to the Worthing meeting for those interested in the project. I am busy manufacturing them in the mean time.

This project will kick-off in the autumn when the sunny? weather has passed us by!

I am happy to help and try to enlist others from this part of the world. I do however have a question. In your text about measurement you show the vertical line aligned with the left edge of the C but in the illustration of the actual template it is aligned with the right edge (on the 4c block). Which is correct? and does this throw out any mneasurements taken so far?

Can you send me a template by airmail or alternatively if you are going to be at the Royal in October I can collect it then. I am left handed.

With best regards

Richard in Singapore

Hi Richard,
Nice to know someone is taking an interest!
In reply to your query, the 'C' is tucked into the red sideways 'V' so that it is snug, top left and bottom left. The letters can come in different sizes, so using this measurement, it is always from the same position. If it overlaps the scale a bit it will not matter, it is the distance to the next 'C' that is important.
I will bring a supply of left and right hand templates to the Royal, which I will be attending. See you there,

Regards,

Mac

I have recently received the sterling efforts of David Mekie and translated them into Excel, several sheets.

Where are the rest of you study bunnies? :D

All input gratefully received!

Look forward to more data.

All study project documents are available on the website in PDF format as I was under the impression Excel files could not be listed.

After a discussion at the last meeting, Nick Hackney seemed to think it would be possible to attach them, so I am hoping that in a short time they will be available in an electronic format.

This would make it easier for data to be entered and transmitted to me by (the few  ) participants taking part.

The Excel spreadsheet is now available on the SS One Cent Surcharges 1892 Project page.

Thanks for this Mac,

Best regards

Nick
